Having been contacted by QDO and asked to express my thoughts on the Project, being an owner of a unit within the resort, and given that the villa is almost complete, I was more than happy to oblige!

People will call me crazy but I chose my unit by talking to Miguel over the phone one Sunday afternoon after reading the brochure, and this was as long ago as the Summer of 2007! Although, I am not completely crazy, as I did then immediately fly out to meet Miguel and the team and make sure that I had made the right choice.

Quintas de Obidos is proud to once again be sponsoring the Global Champions Tour.
This event has evolved into one of the most prestigious show jumping circuits in the international sports arena.
The 2nd leg will take place in Valencia, Spain from the 6th to the 8th of May and is broadcast on Eurosport International on May 7th from 8pm to 9.30pm.
Jessica Kürten, the Quintas de Obidos Ambassador, will be competing at the event and Miguel Abreu will also be there promoting Quintas de Obidos.

The day we are going to welcome our first residents is quickly approaching. Acknowledging that this new step in the life of our resort implies a new challenge, we have re-structured our sales team.
We are pleased that Alexa Corte-Real has joined our staff as of the 1st of May. With 8 years of sales experience and with extensive knowledge of the Silver Coast, Alexa will be joining Bill in sales at Quintas de Obidos.
As such, and in order to satisfy our residents' needs to the fullest, Corinne da Costa Campos will be focusing on post sales operations and promoting the resort lifestyle in general.

As well as being the owner and developer of Quintas de Óbidos, Miguel Abreu, together with his family, owns a vineyard near the northern city of Amarante, called Quinta de Carapeços where they produce a series of different wines from a variety of Portuguese grapes.
As we do not want you to miss out on these lovely wines, we are introducing a monthly wine tasting at Quintas de Óbidos, every last Saturday of the month from 17h00 – 19h00.
Therefore, the inaugural wine tasting will be on the 28th of May at the Sales Office of Quintas de Óbidos.
